Hello
I’m Anne Marie Cannon — author, podcaster, vintage curator, and documentary producer.
At the heart of everything I create lies a fascination with history and the stories that connect us across time.
My work explores how the past continues to shapes the present. I follow that thread through The Bedlam Trilogy, Armchair Historians, Bring It Back Vintage, and Last Train Leaving Belgium.
Blending tradition with innovation, I use words, sound, style, and emerging technology — including AI — to reimagine how history can be told and experienced.
My Story
Drawn to the echoes of the past, I’ve long sought out forgotten voices, overlooked artifacts, and the beauty of rediscovery. What began as a fascination with Tudor England evolved into a lifelong exploration of how history lingers within us — shaping our imagination, our identity, and our sense of belonging.
Through novels, conversations, fashion, and film, I give voice to those threads of history that might otherwise be forgotten.
Each of my projects — The Bedlam Series, Armchair Historians, Bring it Back Vintage, and Last Train Leaving Belgium— shares a single truth: the past is never still; it lives, evolves, and breathes through every story we tell.
The past is never lost — it waits to be found in the stories we tell, the clothes we wear, and the memories we keep.
Let's Connect
I’d love to hear from you. Whether you’re reaching out about a collaboration, a podcast idea, a vintage inquiry, or simply to connect over a shared love of history—your message is welcome here.
