I’m Anne Marie Cannon, I write Tudor historical fiction as A.M. Cannon. I’m the author of the Bedlam series and the creator and host of the Armchair Historians podcast, where history, storytelling, and the lives of people from the past take center stage.
My Story
At the heart of everything I create lies a fascination with history and the stories that connect us across time.
My work explores how the past continues to shape the present. I follow that thread through the Bedlam series, the Armchair Historians podcast, Bring It Back Vintage, and my documentary work, including Last Train Leaving Belgium.
Blending tradition with new ways of storytelling, I work across words, sound, image, and style to explore how history can be told, experienced, and rediscovered.
